The AC-DC voltage divider ground must be reliably grounded.
Connect the high voltage wire above the pressure equalizing ring and tighten the high voltage wire with a wire screw. The test wire must not stick out or up and down around the test wire to prevent measurement errors due to tip discharge.
Insert the signal line of the AC/DC voltage divider into the meter header (red is positive voltage V, and black is negative voltage com). According to the different test modes, select the multimeter's AC or DC gear measurement, and switch the AC/DC to the blue button. Press the yellow button during the test to test the frequency and humidity. This meter can also test positive and negative peaks. For details, see the UT61E instruction manual.
After the test is completed, the high voltage is cut off, and the liquid crystal display meter connected to the AC/DC voltage divider is only displayed at a value of “0.XXX†before it enters the site (when the AC test is performed, the meter will slowly return to zero, but the high voltage power supply is cut off. There is already no electricity, so in this case, please pay attention to the difference between AC and DC test. After DC measurement, you must use the discharge rod to generate power before you can access other work such as stitch removal.)
When measuring DC, if there is a filter capacitor, the filter capacitor should be fully discharged first, so that the reading indicated by the AC/DC voltage divider is approximately “0.XXXâ€, then the related operation can be performed.
During use and maintenance, care should be taken to ensure that the surface of the AC/DC voltage divider is clean and free of contamination. This instrument should be stored in a dry place and kept properly.
